that seems like a pretty big statement doesn't it but it is true! And that's what they are called in recipe book I got them out of! I dare you to try them and then tell me if it's not the best! :)
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of white sugar
2 small eggs
a dash of vanilla
1 3/4 cups of flour
250 grams of chocolate chips
125grams of butter
preheat oven to 160 C. Using an electric mixer, cream butter with sugars until pale. Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined. Beat in sifted flour until mixed through. Fold through chocolate chips.
Line a baking tray. Roll dough into teaspoon- sized balls and place on tray. Bake for 10- 12 minutes. If you like them chewy, don't let them brown as they will crisp as they cool down. MAKES ABOUT 48!!!
(once I got over 50)
I made some of these today...for a special birthday boy tomorrow...hopefully I don't eat to many before then!
They look yummy! Hope they last until tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteYum!.......
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Happy Blogtoberfest....:)
Hey Lauren. Thanks for stopping by my blog and thanks for this cookie recipe. If only I could get the hang of how much 1/2 cup really was! You would think measurements would be universal wouldn't you? A friend in Atlanta is sending me some measuring cups for Christmas thank goodness!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogtoberfest to you too!

Hi Lauren, thanks for stopping by my blog. I don't get many visitors so it was exciting to see your comment! Yes, that's our fluffy dog in my blog banner. He's a poodle and he goes around the chook pens looking for eggs to feast on. He is such a happy dog and always looks like he's smiling. We are expecting (and hoping for) a few days of sunshine before the rain comes back again on Friday.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Blogtoberfest.
If they are the chocolate chip cookies that you made me when i came to stay then...YES! They are the most moorish cookies in the whole wide world...I think I might bake some today! Thanks!
