I wanted to revamp a couple of pieces I bought at the OP shop...both quite some time ago. This little desk I saw out the front of a "junk" shop about 4 or 5 years ago. I think I paid $20 for it. 
I got a voucher from Spotlight for Christmas so I went and got some paint and got to painting. I did two coats and painted it over two days. I like the way it turned out but I don't think the paint was the right one...because when I've already chipped a bit...perhaps a coat of lacquer...but for now I like it and I think it'll be a nice nook for sewing :)
What a great sized desk, perfect for a sewing machine :) hope it doesnt chip anymore.
ReplyDeleteIt does fir the sewing machine very nicely....it's pretty chipped on the top after the weekend...ahh well I'll do better research next time ;)
